Vineyards

You are ideally placed to meet welcoming winemakers. Flagship names such as Coteaux du Layon or L'Aubance for fluffy wines, Anjou Village, Brissac or Saumur-Champigny for the reds, Cabernet de Saumur or Cabernet d'Anjou for the rosés, you will feast. Troglodyte dwellings

A limestone soil and the work of the men allowed the realization of habitats, cellars, galleries. Come and spend a few moments underground in the troglodytes.

Rides and hikes

The Loire, forests, country paths, typical villages: a setting conducive to beautiful hikes. The GR3 is 8 km away and the tour "La Loire à Vélo" as well. A shelter for your bicycles is available, and maps of tours, pedestrian excursions can be loaned. We know nice spots around, and it will be our treat to share them with you.

The great originality of the wines of the Val de Loire is, they are mostly resulting from a single grape variety: Burgundy melon in the vineyards of Nantes, Chenin, Cabernet and Gamay in Anjou, Saumur and Touraine. Sauvignon and Pinot Noir in Touraine and in the Center, but also Grolleau, Pinot Meunier, Pineau d'Aunis, Romorantin…
